Irish actor, Micheal Gambon dies at 82

The Irish actor dies at 82 on Thursday 28th September 2023, by 2pm.

The actor is known for playing Albus Dumbledore in most of the Harry Potter films, died following a bout of pneumonia, according to his family and publicist.

The Veteran actor Michael Gambon, was also known to many for his portrayal of Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore in six of the eight “Harry Potter” films.

Sir Michael John Gambon CBE was an Irish–English actor. Gambon started his acting career with Laurence Olivier as one of the original members of the Royal National Theatre. Over his six-decade-long career, he received three Olivier Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, and four BAFTA Awards. He was born 19th October 1940 in Cabra, Ireland. He died in Witham, United Kingdom.
