Leadership entails the cooperation and support of all citizens – Buhari says in his Sallah Message

Former President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari has said that leading a country like Nigeria is one of the hardest challenges in life.

Buhari stated this on Tuesday in his Sallah message signed by his spokesperson, Garba Shehu, noting that leadership entails the cooperation and support of all citizens.

He quoted,

“Leading a country like Nigeria is one of the hardest challenges in life”.

The former president called on all Nigerians to fully support the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

He said.

“Leadership is a challenging task that demands the sacrifices and support of the citizens”.

The katsina-born former head of state also wished Nigerian Muslims a happy Eid and “to those on pilgrimage, Hajji Mabrur and a safe return home.”

Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR) is a Nigerian politician who served as the president of Nigeria from 2015 to 2023. A retired Nigerian army major general, he served as the country’s military head of state from 31 December 1983 to 27 August 1985, after taking power in a military coup d’etat.
