Naira Marley is involved in the death of Mohbad: K-Solo

Solomon Oyeniyi, popularly known as K-Solo who has been in the industry for almost two decades and produces many award winning songs made some revelations on what is happening in the music industry and what could led to the death of Mohbad.

In his interview on Rubbin’ minds program on Channels TV he explained how music producers make it difficult for signees to leave when they don’t really get what they expect in the contract, making the industry looks like fraternity in such a way that calls can be made not to play an artist song in different channels thereby frustrating the artist.

He also made the assertion that Naira Marley’s hand is involve in the death of Morbad following the recent happenings before his death and what surfaced after his death. The problem started from not having access to ones catalogue and planning to leave the label he said.

“As a custodian in this industry, i don’t need to know you before i stand up”: K-Solo.

“I didn’t know he was assaulted”: K-Solo.

Continuing with the interview, it was learnt that Mohbad wrote a petition against Naira Marley but didn’t follow it up which was probably the reason the Nigeria police didn’t work on it. And when called to come up to press for the petition, Mohbad didn’t turn up.

“The Nigerian police refused to accept that there was a petition until i made contact to a higher person in the police”: K-Solo.

Why wasn’t there autopsy?

“I’m gonner say this as against Mohbad’s father, why would you hurriedly bury him? And his neck was bent one side”: K-Solo. Maybe threatened by the people involved in his death.

Naira Marley is involved, he can’t deny it, he can’t say he owns a label and things are going on inappropriately and you say you don’t know, he has to come to Nigeria and say categorically that he’s not involved and let the police do their job: says K-Solo.

“If the police doesn’t swing into action between today and tomorrow i might be forced to come back on this show”: K-Solo.

Inviting the NDLEA because it’s alleged that something was put in his drink?

This’s a ticking time bomb and a lot of people are interested in this case within and out of Nigeria, if something like this happened, they should come out and speak. The street is very much upset and i believe the government of Tinubu won’t let this slide.

Sam Larry tried to attack him?

I’ve given a lot of evidences to the police and i’ve talked to many people. “who God no fit catch, dem never create am”: K-Solo. No one is untouchable, everyone working or attached to Mohbad will become jobless because of his death. “There’ll definitely be a payback time for whoever is involved” :K-Solo.

Why are people speaking up now?

He’s only one of the artist in Nigeria who has left a label and be able to bounce back. No artist has been able to make a hit after leaving a label. Wande coal left, he’s still struggling to make a hit though people love him even me but Mohbad is the only artist that left with problem and make even more than one hits.

Nigerians should calm down in their pursuit for fame and riches with patience so they don’t fall victims. That it’s always difficult to leave a label once in it. Oppressing is not good because record labels are like fraternities and it’s meant to assist one another not the other way round. All that glitters is not gold.
