Sri Lankan military doctors have removed what’s been recognized by the Guinness world records as the world’s largest kidney stone on June 1, 2023.

The stone which weighed 801 grams(28.250z), was taken from a 62 yrs old retired soldier, Canistus Coonge.

It was over 5 times heavier than the average male kidney, and measuring 13.37 centimetres (5.26in) long.

Despite the blockage, coonge’s kidney is still functioning normal. The doctor said.
