“His arrest was confirmed on Tuesday by the spokeperson of the state police command, sp ajayi okasanmi.

“His arrest was affected by the force criminal investigation and intelligence department (FCIID) from alagbon-close, ikoyi, lagos which make it out of our jurisdiction.
Alfa rafiu, a point of sale (POS) operator , a resident of akuji compound, abayawo area, IIorin west local govt, area received money in batches of several millions of naira some weeks ago and went on a spending spree, and was arrested for allegedly spending the sum of N280 million mistakenly sent to his bank account.
“rafiu bought houses and cars and sponsored people to the lesser hajj.
He was so generous to several people in his community,some of them marveled by his sudden wealth as a pos operator.
The source in the area blamed rafiu for the trouble he had put himself. “instead of him drawing the attention of the bank that mistakenly transferred the huge of money into his account. He went about lavishly spending the money.
